How I work:
I offer a comprehensive approach to guide you toward your specific health goals and needs. While I use nutritional education as my primary tool, I also incorporate Chinese Medicine concepts on food energetics, as well as my knowledge of meditation and yoga into treatment plans.
I work in a cooperative and empowering manner to make sure that the recommendations and suggestions I make, work for you and for your body.
My goal is to work together with you and to empower you to make the changes and choices that will bring you closer to your specific wellness goals.
Next, with your consent, I will look at your tongue and take your pulse. These Traditional Chinese Medicine tools will provide me with additional information about the state of your body at the time of your visit.
At the end of the session, I will make recommendations for you to work on, and together we will agree on which recommendations and suggestions you will implement.
During this session, we will go over the recommendations and suggestions made at your first session, and review what worked and what did not work for you. I will again look at your tongue and take your pulse, this time in order gather additional information, and to determine if anything occurred since our last session.
At the end of this session, I will refine your previous treatment plan to better suit your needs, which will enable you to achieve your goals.
Follow up sessions are strongly recommended, as they are important for fine-tuning of each client's individual needs. Depending on what we are working on, the duration and number of follow-up sessions may vary from client to client.
